Based in the Upper Midwest, Steve is a lifelong musician and producer who has recorded and performed with international artists and clients. Raised in a musical household, he began formal study early and had an ongoing mentorship with a NYC studio musician at 16, and attended multiple International Trombone Festivals where he received lessons from legendary players and soloed during a festival in Austria.

 

He has performed with artists including The Temptations, Wayne Newton, and Michael Feinstein & The Carnegie Hall Big Band, was invited to join Broadway’s touring Hello Dolly (but didn't go), and played with many other Top 40 musicians. His recording work includes studio sessions in Hollywood, Chicago, and Minneapolis.

 

Steve also produces audio for commercials, broadcast, and musicians. His work has been featured on Minnesota Public Radio and internationally with clients including Food Network, National Public Radio, and Merck; along with live events featuring figures like John McCain, Danica Patrick, and Peyton Manning.
