Steve Wallevand is a performer, producer/composer, and audio engineer based in the Upper Midwest. A lifelong musician, he began formal study at an early age and, at 16, was taken under the wing of a New York City studio musician - an experience that shaped both his musicianship and his ear for production.

As a trombonist and collaborator, Steve has performed with nationally recognized artists including The Temptations, Wayne Newton, Michael Feinstein & The Carnegie Hall Big Band, and other Top 40 musicians. He has worked across genres ranging from rock, folk, jazz, orchestral, reggae, funk, and soul to commercial and broadcast music.
Music has been a constant in his life. Raised in a musical household, his mother taught piano and directed choirs, and his father - a retired chemist and Green Beret veteran - sings with the Fargo-Moorhead Master Chorale and also plays piano.
For ten years, Steve worked with Media Productions / Flint Group, where he served in both studio and live event roles. During that time, he provided audio support for high-profile appearances and corporate productions featuring figures such as Peyton Manning, Danica Patrick, Bill Gates, and Doug Burgum. The experience sharpened his technical instincts and reinforced his ability to deliver polished audio in high-pressure environments.
Through River Wall Studio, Steve produces music and audio for regional and international clients. His work has been used by companies such as Food Network and National Public Radio, with projects ranging from custom music and broadcast production to voiceover and post audio. Steve is also currently pursuing a Master's degree in performance with adjunct duties.
